Social and Behavior Change for Health

Improving health outcomes requires not only strengthening health systems and services but also addressing social norms and behaviors. Our Behavioral Research Unit (BRET) collaborates with local communities, national governments, and various stakeholders to integrate social and behavior change strategies into interventions. Our interventions are grounded in rigorous research and evidence. We conduct thorough assessments to identify key social and behavioral determinants that impact health outcomes.

To ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of our interventions, we implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks which allows us to track progress, measure impact, and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

Some of our works include:

We develop and implement campaigns that encourage healthy behaviors and lifestyles, tailored to the specific needs and contexts of different communities.

We raise awareness about important health issues and empower individuals and communities to make informed decisions about their health.

We engage community members in collective action to address health challenges, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility for health outcomes.

We work with policymakers to create supportive environments for behavior change, including the development of policies that promote healthy behaviors and reduce barriers to change.
